About us
The F.A.S.T.I. Foundation (“Scanno Attire Fund: Tradition and Innovation” – Third Sector Organization) was established on November 17, 2022. Its objective is to help implement, in collaboration with the Municipality of Scanno and local stakeholders across all relevant sectors, sustainable processes for safeguarding Scanno’s traditional women’s attire in all its forms, together with the intangible cultural heritage embedded within it. The main purpose of the Foundation is to pass this cultural legacy down to the younger generations, teaching them to cherish it as a precious asset to be protected and made accessible in the future—not only for the residents of Scanno, but also beyond the borders of Scanno, Abruzzo, and Italy.
